Light pad cover fun

I hold project days once a month and the ladies requested a light pad cover, therefore I devised this for them, I am however going to put a handle on this, but have yet to get around to it.
Attaching fusible to the wool hexagons.

Having fun placing the colours.

Quilted through the hexagons to hold on to the coloured hexagons and hold the batting to the lining.

Binding put on.

A pocket at the back for the recharging cord.

Thanks for visiting happy stitching

Hexagons and crochet... Also clamshells

Where have I been you say...  In the middle of LIFE at the moment...  A trip to Melbourne ....  Classes....  Children ....
This is what my couch looks like at the moment...
A small space left for me.
So good to see some progress on my hexagon quilt.... Crochet... Clamshells....

Do you have those days when you just can't get to the sewing ....  OR days when you actually do not know what to FINISH first... Ha I'm sure you do! .

I have the borders on my Natalie bird Christmas quilt 😉 just to quilt now let's hope that doesn't take all year.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have been having a lovely time stitching

Stitching ... . Back to a routine

Hello bloggers, sorry I feel like I have been away for a million years, but the year is underway and school has started along with lunches, homework, school activities, and dinner to be cooked on time...  .. but I am glad to be back into the studio sewing

Here are my finishes for the week...  a few items I am not showing until I post for the 1 xmas item a month....  I have some things ready for post...  keeping up has me motivated to get those items made..... that have been longing to come to life.

These hexagons are a start for a journal cover.
